About the Team


The Real Estate team is one of the firms’ largest departments, with over 300 lawyers across their UK offices. They have a high emphasis on transactional expertise, bringing a commercial and business-oriented approach across a wide range of property matters.


Advising an impressive client base of some of the largest property companies within the UK, alongside international investors and occupiers as they explore deploying capital and expanding in the UK.


This award-winning practice is led by a heavy-hitting Partner with over three decades at the firm, supported by a strong group of experienced lawyers who bring considerable depth of knowledge across the Real Estate sector. You will work collaboratively not only within the Commercial Property team, but also with partners and teams across the wider Real Estate practice.

The Role


Joining the firm’s highly respected Real Estate team, you will advise on a wide range of Commercial matters, from, development, funding, investment and property management transactions. With a focus on investment, development, funding and asset management.


Managing large-scale projects, across the UK and in every sector, offering you exposure to some of the most exciting and complex schemes in the market. Alongside utilising the latest legal technology and working closely with their Paralegal division and junior team members.


As a Managing Associate, you will be a key member of a busy, high-performing and collegiate team. You will work closely with partners on complex matters, contribute to the ongoing development of client relationships and collaborate across the firm’s Real Estate teams on multi-disciplinary transactions.


There is a genuine focus on continuous development and long-term progression. You will be encouraged to take on significant responsibility, lead matters, play an active role in business development and support the supervision and development of junior lawyers — all within a supportive environment that is invested in your future at the firm.


Requirements


  • Be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE, with Commercial Real Estate experience.
  • Strong technical expertise across investment, development, funding and asset management.
  • Be a confident stakeholder manager, with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
  • Lead complex matters and contributing to high-quality, team-led advice.
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development and client relationship building.
