The Role: Lead and develop high-performing strategy and innovation teams, driving a culture of delivery, collaboration, and continuous improvement Shape and execute the commercial innovation strategy across the business, introducing forward-thinking solutions and challenging traditional approaches Manage strategic programmes and cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with wider commercial and operational objectives Build trusted partnerships with customers and senior stakeholders, leading high-level conversations around sustainability and value creation Identify and deliver opportunities linked to Net Zero, decarbonisation, resource management, and broader environmental improvement goals The Ideal Candidate: Proven leadership experience within the waste management or wider environmental sector, with a track record xbpsjku of leading cross-functional teams through change Strong strategic and commercial capability, with the ability to turn ideas into practical, embedded business solutions Confident influencing senior leadership and operating effectively across large, matrix-led environments Highly analytical, organised, and self-sufficient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines IOSH Managing Safely certification and Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification, or equivalent professional experience
