Commercial Trailer Sales Manager


Based in Southam - with some national travel


Up to £55k + Car and Bonus



Elevation Recruitment are working in partnership with Al-ko to recruit a Commercial Trailer Sales Manager.


This key role is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing key customer relationships and developing new business opportunities within the commercial trailer sector. The role focuses on promoting AL-KO’s range of trailer components including axles, suspension systems, braking systems, couplings, electronics and associated parts.


The Sales Manager will lead the commercial trailer sales strategy, manage accounts, identifying new market opportunities, pricing strategies whilst managing high levels of customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.


Role & responsibilities:


• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with trailer manufacturers and distributors

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key trailer OEM and aftermarket customers

• Conduct regular customer visits to promote product ranges and identify new sales opportunities

• Support the expansion of the market share within the commercial trailer sector

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts and maintain long-term partnerships

• Negotiate pricing, contracts and supply agreements

• Monitor customer performance and identify opportunities for increased sales

• Support marketing initiatives including trade shows, product launches and promotional campaigns to increase product visibility



What are we looking for:


• An experienced B2B Sales professional ideally with knowledge of the Commercial Trailer market or adjacent.

• Track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts

• Strong stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills

• High level of commercial awareness and market analysis capability

• Experience with sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline management

• Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills

• Organised, self-motivated, target-driven individual who is comfortable working independently or as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK
