Commercial / Sales Manager – Shipping & Logistics Location: Remote (UK) – with travel Salary: Circa £40,000+ + Bonus + Benefits
A dynamic and growing joint venture in the shipping and logistics sector is seeking a Commercial / Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK market. .
The Role This is a results-driven commercial role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and increasing container volumes within the UK. You will play a key part in shaping the company’s market presence, building strong customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth in line with strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow the UK customer base, driving sales and revenue
* Manage and expand key client accounts
* Identify and secure new business opportunities
* Handle sales enquiries and provide competitive pricing solutions
* Maintain and utilise CRM systems to manage customer relationships
* Lead sales campaigns and marketing initiatives
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial success
About You
* Proven background in commercial sales (ideally within shipping/logistics)
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
* Target-driven with a proactive, ambitious approach
* Experience managing customer accounts and pipelines
* Knowledge of global trade routes and pricing structures (desirable)
Requirements
* UK driving licence
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Must have previous freight experience
