*Overview* A Domestic & Commercial Gas Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in both residential and commercial settings. This dual-role position requires expertise across a wide range of gas technologies and compliance with safety regulations.

*Responsibilities*

*Installation & Maintenance*

* Install, service, and repair boilers, heating systems, and gas appliances in homes and commercial buildings * Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on gas systems. * Ensure all work complies with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 * Identify and rectify unsafe situations following industry procedures. * *Diagnostics & Testing* * Perform fault diagnosis and testing of gas appliances and systems. * Use diagnostic tools and software to assess system performance.

*Requirements*

* *Essential Certifications* * Gas Safe registration for both domestic and commercial work. * Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in plumbing or heating engineering. * *Essential Certifications* * Gas Safe registration for both domestic and commercial work. * Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in plumbing or heating engineering. * Experience with renewable heating technologies (e.g., heat pumps). * Strong problem-solving and technical skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent time management and customer service abilities. * · *Commercial Gas - CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, CDGA1, CORT1*

· *City & Guilds – NVQ Level 2 & 3 – Domestic Natural Gas*
