Chef de Partie / Commis Chef

Location:  Cambridge

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client in Cambridge for a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie / Commis Chef to join their busy kitchen team.

This is a great opportunity for a chef who is keen to develop their skills while working in a structured environment, following established menus and supporting the wider kitchen team.

Key Details:

Location: Cambridge
Position: Chef de Partie / Commis Chef
Shift Pattern: Split shiftsFull-time hours available

9:30am – 2:30pm
5:30pm – 10:00pm

Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking dishes in line with existing menus
Following instructions from the Head Chef and working closely with the other chef on shift
Maintaining consistency and quality in all dishes
Ensuring high standards of hygiene and food safety
Assisting with prep, stock rotation, and general kitchen duties
Requirements:

Previous kitchen experience (Commis Chef or Chef de Partie level)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a small team
Good understanding of fresh food preparation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Flexibility to work split shifts
