Commis Chef Monday to Friday
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Commis Chef to join our team in a busy sandwich kitchen within a café/restaurant based in an office building in Central London.
At The Good Eating Company , we are focused on continuing to deliver the definitive standard in workplace dining.
About the Role 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday earliest start 7am, latest finish 7pm
Preparing high-quality sandwiches and related food items in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation and production

Following company recipes and specifications to ensure consistency and quality

Maintaining appropriate stock levels and carrying out correct stock rotation

Ensuring high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen

Treating your teammates, Manager and Head Chef with kindness, fairness and respect, and working positively as part of the team

About You A team player who is motivated and inspired

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is beneficial

Able to deliver and maintain standards in line with GEC guidelines

Enthusiastic and sociable with a positive attitude

Efficient, organised and hardworking

Able to work independently or as part of a team

We had the dream of bringing restaurant-quality food to corporate dining at a time when uninspiring sandwiches and soggy salads were all that were typically on offer. Since then, the team have been delivering food and drink services to an impressive menu of clients up and down the country.
We no longer work around a kitchen table, but our approach remains the same: moreish food, quaffable drinks and good company.
