MEC are looking for Commissioning Engineers across both the Southern Water and Thames Water region to support the delivery of major water infrastructure projects.

MEC are driven to improving lives to ensure a sustainable future, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting the delivery of critical improvements that are required in the UK's water and waste water industry.

You will be responsible for the below,

* Developing commissioning plans

* Attending FAT requirements at vendor premises

* Execute commissioning of all mechanical / EC&I / Process systems related to water and waste water treatment facilities

* Leading SAT requirements on site including reliability testing

* Producing commissioning and handover documentation including O&M, ITP’s and ITR's

* Liaise with vendors and subcontractors on site

* Ensuring compliance with safety and quality in line with project specifications

Key requirements

* Practical Experience on site

* Proven record in the water industry

* Understanding of Electrical schematic drawings

* Understanding of all systems PLC's / HMI / SCADA

* Familiarity with the relevant industry standards (WIMES/ GENIUS/ CDM)

* Minimum 3 years’ experience commissioning ECS / CSCS
