Communications Specialist - 12 Month Contract
£400 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid - 1 day per week in London

83zero are partnered with a leading global cyber security organisation to recruit an experienced Communications Specialist for a 12-month contract.

This role will play a key part in shaping and delivering internal and external communications, supporting senior stakeholders, and strengthening the organisation's brand presence across multiple channels.

The Role

As Communications Specialist, you'll support the planning, development and execution of strategic communications initiatives. You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver impactful messaging, manage content across platforms, and support high-profile announcements and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications

Support the planning and delivery of internal events, including All-Hands meetings

Manage and update regional intranet pages

Maintain and manage regional distribution and mailing lists

External Communications & PR

Support the coordination and execution of major announcements, including product launches, company updates and partnerships

Assist with media relations activity, including tracking coverage, managing PR distribution lists and coordinating interviews

Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content for PR and social media campaigns

Support the management and coordination of external PR agencies across EMEA

Produce insightful reports on media performance and campaign impact

Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communications strategy

Manage and optimise media data using tools such as G-Suite, Cision, Brandwatch and PR Newswire

Create clear, visually engaging presentations and dashboards that communicate impact and performance

Required Skills & Experience

Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field

5-7 years' experience in media, communications or PR, ideally within a corporate or agency environment

Strong experience working with media metrics, reporting and analytics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality content

Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive or technical information

Confident using collaboration and communication tools such as Google Workspace

Desirable Experience

Experience using media monitoring tools such as Cision, Meltwater or Talkwalker

Exposure to digital content creation, including basic design or video tools

Experience working within technology or cybersecurity environments
