This role is ideal for Community Nurses, District Nurses, IV Therapy Nurses or experienced Registered Nurses looking for flexible bank work while continuing to provide meaningful patient care.

Patch area:Mobile community role covering 15-mile radius of Great Yarmouth including Lowestoft, Gorleston-on-Sea, Caister-on-Sea, Beccles, Bungay, Acle, Hemsby, Belton, Hopton, Corton, Pakefield, Carlton Colville, and surrounding Norfolk and Suffolk villages.

The Role Community Registered Nurse

As a Community Nurse, you will contribute to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the community.

Your day-to-day work will include minimum 3060-minute patient visits, delivering safe and effective clinical care within patients homes. Our primary pathway is IV therapy, although you may also support with welfare, monitoring patient conditions, blood tests, and packages of care where required.

You will monitor and record patient progress using digital systems, escalate concerns when necessary and work closely with GPs, consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Most importantly, you will help empower patients to recover safely and independently at home, reducing the need for hospital admission and supporting earlier discharge.

About You

You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration and at least three years post-registration experience.

You will be confident working autonomously within the community, with strong clinical judgement and excellent communication skills. Compassionate and collaborative, you will build effective relationships with patients, carers and colleagues while delivering high standards of patient-centred care.
