Your new company Hays is proud to be working with a national manufacturing company who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their finance function. Working closely with the Finance Director to be a key part in the day-to-day finance operations, cost control and supporting the production team. This job is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position, being part of a close-knit finance function and taking ownership of their workload. Your new role
Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Maintain accurate general ledger records Lead on Month end Produce budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Maintain and analyse product costings Monitor material, labour, and overhead variances Track inventory valuation (raw materials, finished goods) Support pricing and margin analysis Prepare VAT returns and liaise with HMRC Support statutory accounts and external audits Maintain strong financial controls and documentation Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital Oversee credit control, supplier payments, and bank reconciliations Review inventory levels and payment terms Partner with production and ...
