About Us
Routes Healthcare is a leading complex care provider — we are a care company, not an agency. We're real people who put individual healthcare needs first. We support people in their own homes, providing specialist 1-2-1 care for clients with complex health needs.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a young person in Liverpool who is living with a brain injury. This is a 1-2-1 role in the client's own home and out in the community, supporting them to live as full and independent a life as possible.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing dedicated 1-2-1 support to a young person with an acquired brain injury
Supporting with personal care, daily routines, and clinical needs as outlined in the care plan
Driving the client to activities and appointments, supporting them to access the community safely
Monitoring and responding to changes in the client's condition
Following detailed care plans created by our clinical team
Building a consistent, trusting relationship with the client and their family
Maintaining accurate care records and documentation

A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work — you will be driving the client
The right to work in the UK without needing employer support
Experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
Reliable, patient, and able to commit to every Saturday
A warm, engaging approach — this is about supporting a young person's quality of life, not just meeting clinical needs

Understanding of rehabilitation and neuro-behavioural support
What We Offer
Specialist complex care training through the Routes Academy programme
Dedicated clinical on-call team available 24/7
