Job Description

We are recruiting a Complex Support Worker to support a young man with Dravet syndrome, epilepsy, a learning disability and autism.

He enjoys a range of activities, especially 1990s TV shows, darts and snooker, and likes the television on in the background. You must be a confident driver as you will be driving a large mobility vehicle on country lanes and motorways with a full UK licence.

We are looking for someone proactive, energetic, sociable and creative who can keep him engaged and stimulated throughout the day to support his social, emotional and physical health needs. Strong epilepsy and seizure management experience is essential, along with experience supporting people with learning disabilities to engage in a wide range of opportunities.

Superior Healthcare provides round-the-clock care packages to support people living with long-term health conditions to live in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

How we'll support you:

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us and paid induction shifts and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.

If a clients needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you, as a community care assistant, can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.
