ABC Teachers are seeking people to support students in school with complex care needs across Walsall and Birmingham.
About the role
As part of your responsibilities, you will be tasked with providing personal care, assisting with educational activities, and supporting the overall well-being of students with Complex Care Needs. Collaborating closely with staff within the school, you'll ensure that students' educational, social, emotional, physical and mental health needs are met, whilst also building trusting relationships with the students allowing them to feel safe in the school settings.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Complex Care Teaching Assistant you will:
Experience in providing personal care and supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), preferably in a school setting. A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check. Dedication and commitment to fostering student well-being and progress. A compassionate and patient approach towards supporting students with complex needs. A proactive stance towards their profession and responsibilities. Strong adaptability skills to cater to varying student needs and learning styles.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Experience working with SEN, particularly those with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties.
