Healthcare Assistants - Complex Brain Injury Support 2:1 Days • 1:1 Waking Nights • 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm / 8pm-8am) Drivers required We are recruiting confident, resilient and engaging Healthcare Assistants to join a brand-new 24/7 support team for a client living with the long-term effects of a severe traumatic brain injury. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a proactive, rehabilitation-focused team supporting one client in their own home and local community.
About the role The client sustained significant injuries following a road traffic incident and now requires consistent, structured support. You will be part of a dedicated team delivering: 2:1 support during the day (8am-8pm) 1:1 waking night care (8pm-8am) Your role will include: Personal care and daily living support Safe management of a suprapubic catheter (training provided) Supporting memory strategies and orientation Managing perseveration and maintaining boundaries Encouraging safe, meaningful conversations Community access and rehabilitation activities Promoting independence, confidence and routine
