We're hiring for a complex needs support worker in Coventry (Homelessness & Complex Needs)\n\n £29,000 per annum\n\n⏰ Full-time, permanent\n\n Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends 1 in 4), between 8am-8pm\n Start date: Ideally 29th December\n Rotas issued 4 weeks in advance\n\nWe're currently recruiting for a Specialist Support Worker to join a new Active Opportunity Pathway (AOP) service in Coventry, supporting people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.\n\nAbout the role\n\nThis is an accommodation-based role where you'll work in a strength-based, trauma-informed way, supporting residents with complex needs including mental health, substance misuse and offending histories.\n\nYou'll be involved in:\n- Managing a caseload and delivering outcome focused support plans\n- Tenancy and rent management\n- Supporting access to specialist services (mental health, drug & alcohol, employment)\n- Delivering 1:1 and group-based support\n- Working closely with internal teams and external partner agencies\n\n- Complete regular accommodation inspections\n\nThis is a new and developing service, offering the opportunity to make a real impact and help shape best practice from the ground up.\n\nAbout you\n\nWe're keen to speak with candidates who have:\n\nStrong experience supporting people experiencing homelessness or multiple disadvantage\nExperience in accommodation-based services and tenancy management\nA trauma-informed, non-judgemental and strengths-based approach\nConfidence managing safeguarding, risk and complex needs Enhanced DBS, satisfactory references and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle are required due to extensive travel across the UK will be required from time to time to support the delivery of role requirements
