We are collaborating with a rapidly growing clean energy business that also provides lending solutions to its clients. The company is very much in start-up mode but is backed by one of the most successful energy firms globally. This role reports into the VP of Legal, with additional support from the parent company’s compliance function and external counsel.

Responsibilities:

Establish and regularly update compliance policies, systems, and internal controls. Provide practical compliance advice, support audits, and report to senior leadership and the board. Deliver compliance training, implement monitoring systems, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. Advise on compliance risks related to new markets, products, or technologies, working closely with legal and business teams.

Requirements:

4+ years in a compliance or legal role within a regulated business Strong understanding of anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations Experience drafting and implementing policies and procedures Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving regulatory needs
