Audit & Risk Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a FTSE 100 Telecoms business to hire a new Sanctions & Trade Controls Compliance Manager for their broader Legal function. This role will report in to the Senior Compliance Manager, with a dotted line to the Head of Compliance. You will work an advisory capacity to business stakeholders, providing expertise on all matters associated with Trade Controls and Sanctions Compliance. This will include training, responding to queries and requests for information, and advising on potential deals and sales from a compliance perspective. You will implement policies and controls associated with trade and sanctions, providing high-risk relationship management, risk assessment and due diligence You will build relationships with relevant stakeholders at all levels of seniority. You will also review exports and licensing applications for compliance with global trade regulations.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 years + of Compliance Management experience gained in an industrial or commercial setting. Knowledge and experience of Sanctions and Trade Controls Compliance will be very highly regarded.
