RiskPod are looking to place a Compliance Monitoring Manager (Project Leader) into one of our clients, a top tier fiduciary business. Details below, and must-haves listed here:


  • Stood up and led from start to finish compliance monitoring programmes, including people management
  • Offshore jurisdictional experience, particularly JFSC (Jersey), plus ideally some of Cayman, BVi, Bermuda, Luxembourg
  • Broad Compliance experience and knowledge of prudential and AML regulations
  • Able and willing to work in the office, London
  • Ideally ICA qualified or similar, and have worked in a large consultancy or fiduciary/ corporate services/ legal firm


As the leader of the CMP team, the CMP Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Compliance Monitoring Programmes (CMPs) across the group's entities. Supported by the Senior Analysts and Analysts, the Manager oversees the ongoing maintenance of the CMP testing schedule, ensures that testing is performed on time, and monitors the prompt resolution of any CMP findings.


The CMP Manager will specifically:

  • Implement a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) by leveraging the results of various risk assessments conducted across the group, with a focus on key controls
  • Support the adoption of the CMP by the groups' boards to ensure alignment and commitment at the governance level
  • Maintain the CMP standard operating procedures including the testing procedures to maintain quality and consistency
  • Ensure sufficient resources are available to carry out testing against the group controls framework
  • Issue findings and provide actionable recommendations based on test results
  • Present CMP findings and recommendations clearly to relevant business units
  • Deliver regular CMP updates to relevant boards to keep stakeholders informed
  • Manage and promptly resolve any escalations arising from CMP activities


The candidate must be capable of working independently with substantial amounts of information, organising and analysing data effectively, demonstrate attention to detail, possess excellent written communication skills, and be able to convey information professionally and succinctly. In addition, the candidate should be a proactive team player. Experience in policy drafting would be ideal.
