Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer required to join a leading compressed air supplier and manufacturer.\n\n The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Northwest of the UK. Full product training provided.\n\n The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer will ideally have a field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering such as compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, rotating equipment, or similar compressed air-related equipment.\n\n Package\n\n£32,000–£38,000 depending on experience\nCompany van\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nCompany pension\nOvertime\nDoor-to-door pay\nAdditional benefits \n\n Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Role\n\nProvide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.\nUndertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault-finding on compressed air systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air products.\nMaintain, repair, and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators, and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment across the Northwest of the UK.\nInstall compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into various manufacturing industries.\nPerform emergency breakdown fault-finding and repairs on compressed air equipment.\nLiaise with various engineering departments. \n\n Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Installation Engineer Requirements\n\nProven diagnostic skills on complex electrical/mechanical engineering systems.\nExperience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.\nAbility to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.\nGood working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.\nField servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps, motors, rotating equipment, and capital equipment is advantageous. Training provided.\nA technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification (apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree) would be advantageous.\nHome-based, willing to travel
