Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Radstock area who are actively looking to recruit a Concreate Operative on a full time basis.

Job Overview
As a member of the production team, the Concrete Operative will be involved in a wide range of duties within the factory environment, playing a key role in the delivery of our cast stone products.

Position Type: Full time - 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday (06:00 - 16:00)

What you will be doing:

Including but not limited to:

• Filling moulds with wet and semi-dry concrete.
• Stripping, cleaning, oiling and reassembling moulds ready for reuse.
• Setting moulds with fixings and reinforcements as specified.
• Operating the mixers.
• Floating, etching and blinding-in the finished goods.
• Cleaning down the plant at the end of each shift.
• Maintaining a tidy work environment.

What you will need to succeed:

Essential:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to prioritise tasks in line with production targets and health & safety requirements
• Excellent time keeping, attendance and flexibility with a positive attitude

Desirable:

• Construction/manufacturing industry experience
• Experience manufacturing concrete
• Forklift truck license

What you will receive in return:

• £13.57 per hour with potential production bonus
