Job Description
Eames Consulting is currently partnering with a leading Lloyd's insurer on the appointment of a Conduct Risk Officer. This role will be based in London and aids the Head of Conduct Risk in driving robust conduct risk outcomes across the business to meet regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Risk & Product Governance Oversight: Manage risk and fair value assessments, outcome reviews, policy updates, and ensure compliance with the Product Governance & Distribution Framework.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Liaise with internal teams (e.g. Risk, Audit, HR) and external parties (e.g. brokers, coverholders), responding to queries and supporting investigations.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis: Lead compliance monitoring reviews, root cause analyses, and produce reports/MI for committees and regulatory bodies.
- Training, Mentorship & Leadership: Support and deliver training programs, mentor team members, and deputise for senior conduct risk leaders when required.
- Regulatory & Audit Support: Coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries, support audits, and ensure timely submission of regulatory returns and attestations.
- 4 + years experience in conduct risk within the London insurance market.
- Ability to manage own workload and be able to prioritise tasks appropriately, ensuring all delivery dates are met.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
