Objectives: Responsible for content creation, team management and budget delivery for one of the most profitable and important parts of Ocean Media Group's current housing portfolio, the conference director, working alongside the housing management team, must deliver a portfolio of conferences, awards and exhibition content that constantly meet and exceed attendee targets whilst ensuring all stakeholder satisfaction levels remain high.
Responsibilities
Always meeting current set objectives the candidate will deliver consistently high-level content alongside innovative events, whilst bringing new and exciting people and topics to the fore.
Senior management
Part of the housing management team this role must also support collaboration across all of the wider housing management team. As a senior representative of Ocean Media the conference and awards director is a custodian of all external relationships and be a professional brand ambassador for our work.
Reporting and KPIs
Responsible for accurate budget reporting and setting clear KPIs for the conference, awards and operations team. Formulating a process with the management team that ensures that all strategic aims are met.
Person specification
The person in this role must strive for excellence in all they do. Always adhering to Ocean Media's motto of 'together we succeed' they must have a passion for creating award-winning events, on budget and within the planned timeframes.
