MERITUS Talent are working with one of the World's leading aeropsace & aviation organisations for the recruitment of a Configuration Managet to join their Portsmouth office on a full-time basis. The role requires an on-site presence, and is paying £41ph via Umbrella. The successfuly candidate should either hold or be eligible for SC Clearance, and hold sole British citizenship. Overview This role sits within the Configuration and Data Management team and is responsible for ensuring adherence to internal guidelines and industry best practices across Configuration Management processes. Acting as the first line of support and training for Product Lifecycle Management and Configuration Management Database users, you'll work closely with project, product, and service teams. You will oversee and support CM activities, provide internal and external stakeholder guidance, contribute to process improvements, and maintain system compliance in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Perform CM activities: identification, control, planning, change, status accounting, and audit.
Maintain and distribute controlled documentation and data in the CMDB.
Generate reports for team leads, project managers, or product/service teams.
