The role: Within Jisc’s Network Delivery group, the Connections team handles end-to-end fulfilment of connectivity services for members and customers. While the wider group builds core Janet infrastructure and manages our full portfolio, Connections focuses on request intake, provisioning, and service acceptance. Collaborating with members, internal teams, and suppliers, the team ensures reliable, efficient delivery of vital network services. What you’ll be doing: You’ll play a vital role in delivering connectivity and services across the Janet network by managing customer fulfilment from initial request to service acceptance. As the key link between Jisc members, staff, and network suppliers, you'll champion the customer experience, ensure service targets are met, and report exceptions when needed. Starting at the Administrator level, you’ll have the opportunity to progress to Coordinator and Specialist levels as you develop and achieve defined milestones. What we are looking for: • Proven experience of working in a service delivery environment. • Strong organisational and communication skills, ensuring clarity and efficiency. • Able to demonstrate accountability and excellent time management, with a strong commitment to both customer and team-focused collaboration. • Highly motivated and resilient, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Detail-oriented and methodical, with a structured approach to work. • A strong ability to interpret technical information and convey it clearly to diverse audiences is highly desirable.
