An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Administrator to join our Seddon Homes business based in Birchwood, Warrington.The principle purpose of the role is varied and deadline driven, so excellent prioritisation and organisational skills are essential.The role will also involve an amount of HR administration support. You should be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to meet strict deadlines. It is essential that you are a confident communicator and are proficient with Microsoft packages.Benefits:Competitive Salary / 26 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Well-being Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending)What youll do:Administration support for the Construction Director/team & PA to Directors as and when requiredAssist in preparation & monitoring of H&S documentation & information for all sitesPreparation and updating of procedure manuals and site set up paperworkMonitor site visits for vacant sites, including all pre-entry paperworkBook & record training for all site staff & liaising with Seddon Construction Training DepartmentMonitor and maintain construction teams holidays and absenceManagement of safety portals, Wise & PowerPlusProcessing and authorising weekly site staff timesheets with payrollPreparing management reportsTaking and preparing meeting minutes, diary management, and general administrative dutiesProcessing and distributing monthly NHBC RI reports to senior management team & construction teamLiaise with the PA to the Directors arranging yearly site meetingsManagement of plot folders & uploading plot certificatesThe single point of contact for the Construction DepartmentProvide backup administrative support during colleagues absenceEnsuring confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the roleHave you got what it takes:Successful track record working in a construction related environment within house building/construction industryGood knowledge of house building, and be able to work with the Sales, Site and Customer Care teamsGood communication skillsProficient with IT (Microsoft packages, Wise, PowerPlus, Excel etc)High attention to detail and strong organisational skillsAbility to manage and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneouslyThrive on working to deadlinesSelf-motivated and proactiveCustomer focused approachTarget driven, with a positive attitude and a team playerJBRP1_UKTJ
