Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Construction Design Manager to oversee and coordinate building projects and hotel refurbishments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Experience delivering retail, hospitality or commercial projects is highly desirable. Benefits Include: An attractive salary. Responsibilities Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, through to handover. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the board of directors. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project progression. Monitor project progress regularly, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and CDM regulations across all project sites, ensuring all CDM files are completed in advance of the project. Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor relationships. Conduct site visits to supervise work quality and adherence to specifications. Manage project documentation, including contracts and progress reports. Qualifications and experience Proven experience in construction project management with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects within retail, hospitality or commercial is advantageous. Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, together with an in-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015, safety regulations and industry standards. Valid UK driving licence is required for site visits and stakeholder meetings at various UK wide locations. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
