Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Duration of Contract: 4 Months
The Role
A Construction Manager is required for an immediate start. Reporting to the Project Lead, managing the final push to completion of a project consisting of five high end residential units (town houses) at a logistically challenging central London based location.
Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to;
- Construction managing the sub-contractors on site (up to 60 operatives).
- Establishing from the Project Programme to Complete, the weekly and daily programme activities that need to be achieved by the sub-contractors, communicating these activities and monitoring actual progress against forecast.
- Submitting weekly progress reports to the Project Lead, identifying the cause of any delays.
- Reviewing quality of the sub-contractors' works, raising snags and managing sign-off of completed works.
- Coordination as required with the Architect.
- Coordinating change control if required.
Key Requirements
- A full time presence on site.
- Experience working on high end residential projects is desirable (not essential).
- Appropriate health and safety qualifications.
- Available to start immediately.
