Office Administrator
The Opportunity
Our client is a leading local construction company specialising in Government, Educational and Health projects. Teamwork and development are at the core of their values and employees are encouraged to develop within the organisation. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a proactive and motivated administrator with construction industry experience to join their busy team in the Wokingham Head Office.
The Package
* £20,000 - £25,000 Basic
* Hours 8am – 4.30pm (4pm on Fridays) Mon - Fri
* Free Parking
* Pension
* 28 days holiday including bank holidays
* Office based role
The Role
* Administration of enquiries, phone calls; being first point of office contact.
* Diary Bookings and Management, including site visits
* Printing schedules of works and site drawings
* Ensuring jobs are raised on Service Accent (our database) and fields updated correctly, including ‘notes’.
* Report on any compliments or non-conformance, updating spreadsheets.
* Downloading H&S Datasheets for H&S Files
* Placing Orders with Suppliers
* Manging Plant / Book Vehicle MOT’s / servicing
* General Admin Support
* Taking in Deliveries
* Tender Management; requesting quotes from suppliers and issuing to Project Managers; saving to project folders; reviewing best value
* Prepare Tender Returns
The Person
* Construction industry experience is essential
* Strong administration and organisational skills
* Professional telephone manner and client liaison skills
* Construction industry experience preferable
* A proactive approach to problem solving
* Committed team player
* Happy working in an office with a dog
