About Us

Doyle Hamilton Associates are a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary consultancy specialising in the UK fit‑out industry.

With over 30 years of experience, this is an exciting time to join us as we continue our expansion, with a strong focus on growing our Project Management services.

About the Role

We are seeking a full‑time Project Manager to deliver consultancy‑side project management services across a range of fit‑out projects.

This role offers a blend of site attendances (across London and the UK), time in our Romford office, and flexible home working by agreement.

You will manage projects from inception to completion — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Our projects range from £100K refresh works to £2M+ new fit‑outs, spanning healthcare, retail, veterinary and wider commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise fit‑out projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop pre‑contract project plans, briefing documents, risk registers and programmes.
  • Lead project teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure coordinated and cost‑effective delivery.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to maintain project control.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders and team members.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports.
  • Assist with budgeting, tendering and cost control (minor works).
  • Manage and control overall project costs.
  • Ensure the structured completion, inspection and close‑down of projects.

About You

  • Degree in a construction‑related field.
  • Professional accreditation or working towards accreditation (RICS, APM, CIOB) — desirable.
  • Proven experience in a consultancy‑based Project Management role with the ability to run projects autonomously.
  • Experience managing multiple projects within the fast‑paced commercial fit‑out sector.
  • Excellent client‑facing skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and relationship‑management abilities.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Company benefits package including private health insurance and death in service.
  • Strong opportunities for career progression.
  • Support with professional development and chartership.
  • A collaborative and supportive working environment.
