Job Description
Site Construction Manager

Project Duration: May 2026 - July 2027
\n
Project Overview:
\n
\n Refurbishment of four commercial buildings, delivered sequentially, with each building programmed over 12-14 weeks.
\n
The works involve Cat B fit-out refurbishments alongside alterations to existing internal layouts and upgrades to building services.
\n
\n
Role Responsibilities - Site / Construction Manager
\n
\n \n Manage day-to-day construction activities and overall site operations
\n
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site logistics across all project phases
\n
Ensure all works are delivered in line with programme requirements and project timelines
\n
Maintain and enforce health and safety standards in accordance with UK regulations
\n
Oversee quality control and compliance with Employer's Requirements (ERs)
\n
Coordinate M&E and fit-out interfaces
\n
Work closely with the Project Manager to support programme delivery and client coordination
\n
Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
\n
Monitor progress, reporting, and support commissioning and handover phases
\n
\n
\n
Scope of Works:

\n Internal Refurbishment Works
\n
\n
\n Reconfiguration of internal layouts
\n
Installation of:
\n
New suspended ceilings
\n
Floor finishes (various types)
\n
Wall finishes and decorations
\n
\n
\n Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Works
\n
\n
\n \n Installation and upgrade of:
\n
Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
\n
Lighting systems
\n
Small power and 2nd fix services
\n
Fire alarm systems
\n
Structured cabling upgrades and installation
\n
Comms room upgrades
\n
AV installations
\n
\n
\n
\n External & Plant Works
\n
\n
\n \n Replacement and refurbishment of plant systems, including:
\n
Air Handling Units (AHUs) (mix of new and upgraded units)
\n
Associated external plant upgrades and integration
\n
\n
\n
Black CSCS - SMSTS - First Aid required
