A dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist is required to join a well-established mental health service in Nottingham , working with adult patients in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment. In this role, the Consultant Psychiatrist will provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adults with a range of complex mental health conditions, contributing to safe, effective, and person centred care pathways.

Key responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans for adult patients.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure coordinated, holistic care across inpatient and community settings where required.
Provide clinical leadership, risk management input, and ongoing review of patients under your care, ensuring high standards of mental health practice.
Requirements:
GMC registration with specialist training in psychiatry
Experience within mental health services, preferably including rehabilitation
Strong communication and leadership skills
