Content Manager
Location: London
Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
Working Pattern: Full-time, 40 hours per week (inclusive of some evenings and weekends for event coverage)
My client is a fast-growing, design-led catering business known for creative, high-quality food and events. They are now seeking a Content Manager to take ownership of brand storytelling, digital presence and content strategy across the business.
This is a hands-on creative role suited to someone with a passion for food, events and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for developing and delivering content that reflects the brands identity while supporting wider marketing and business growth objectives.
The role offers strong creative autonomy within a collaborative, ambitious team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing strategy and business goals
Create photo and video content showcasing menus, events and behind-the-scenes moments
Write compelling copy across newsletters, social media, sales materials and press releases
Manage and grow social media channels, primarily Instagram and LinkedIn
Monitor industry trends and develop engaging campaign ideas
Track performance metrics and report on engagement, reach and ROI
Use insights to refine content strategy and improve results
Manage website updates including menus, case studies and imagery
Collaborate with SEO consultants to optimise content for visibility and lead generation
Work closely with marketing, events and supplier partners to amplify brand reach
About You
1+ years experience in a content, social media or marketing role, ideally within food, events or hospitality
Strong visual eye with experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent writing and editing skills with a clear understanding of tone of voice
Experience managing social media channels and creating engaging campaigns
Knowledge of SEO principles and digital best practice
Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects
Passionate about food, events and brand storytelling
