Contentious Construction Senior Associate/Legal Director | 6+ PQE | Bristol


A specialist contentious construction team within a leading independent UK firm is growing in response to demand, and the work is high-profile.


This isn't small builder disputes or routine adjudications. The team handles complex, often multi-jurisdictional disputes on major projects across energy, utilities, transport and real estate.

The practice is litigation, arbitration, adjudication and ADR, with a strong emphasis on strategic troubleshooting through the project lifecycle rather than only stepping in once disputes have escalated.


The Work

You will lead disputes across UK and international forums, including the TCC, domestic and international arbitration, adjudication and mediation.


At this level, you will run your own caseload, manage client relationships directly and play a key role in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers. The team sits within a full-service independent firm, so you will work alongside projects, real estate, insolvency and commercial teams when disputes require broader expertise.
