I am recruiting on behalf of a leading regional L500 law firm, with national recognition, for a senior level Contentious Probate Solicitor at Partner level. The firm's contentious probate practice is a growing and strategic priority. Under strong leadership, the team advises on complex estate, will and trust litigation, Inheritance Act claims, proprietary estoppel and agricultural succession disputes. The Role This is a senior-level appointment - either at director or junior partner level, depending on experience - to help shape and grow the firm's inheritance and trust disputes team. The successful candidate will:

Provide expert technical advice on contentious probate, trust disputes, will challenges, Inheritance Act claims, executor/trustee disputes and related matters Independently manage and lead complex cases from inception to resolution Mentor and supervise more junior solicitors, paralegals and apprentices, helping to develop the next generation of talent Delegate work appropriately, ensuring efficient case flow and high-quality outputs Attend and contribute at regular team meetings across the firm's offices Take on responsibility for case management, freeing up more senior partners to focus on strategic development
