5S Recruitment are supporting one of the largest packaging manufacturers out there in their search for a Continuous Improvements Lead.
As Continuous Improvements Lead you will be responsible for the continued advancement of Operational Excellence and lean transformation across the site, particularly focusing on the shop floor. This role will have key focus on achieving world-class results in safety, quality, delivery and cost as well as responsibility for building and maintaining a culture of continuous operational improvements on site.
The role will support and develop the sites culture, capability, Health & Safety, Quality, Cost and delivery across the site.
In terms of reporting structure, the Continuous Improvement Lead will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. In the absence of the Manufacturing Manager, the Continuous Improvement Lead will report to the Plant Manager.
Core Accountabilities
* Facilitate and manage the annual Productivity Improvement Programmes across the site.
* Review of adherence to plan and to report out at the end of each month.
* Lead effective structured sessions on Ideas generation and prioritisation.
* Provide coaching and mentorship to all levels of the organisation, becoming the go to person for new ideas and initiatives.
* Keep financial recording and programme health data up to date (Productivity tracker).
