Job Title: Contract Assembly Technician / Panel Technician (Body Shop Background)

Location: NW10, London

Contract: 3 Months Initial (Outside IR35)

Rate: £24 to £28 per hour (DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

Overview:

We are working with an innovative engineering and manufacturing business that is scaling rapidly and requires immediate contract support to assist with a key build phase. This role will focus on hands-on assembly and structural work, supporting the build of bespoke units/“box builds” in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out box build and assembly activities to a high standard
• Perform bonding, gluing, and panel fitting tasks
• Work with composite or sheet materials to assemble structural components
• Follow technical drawings, build instructions, and quality standards
• Support production deadlines and ensure timely completion of builds
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in bonding, gluing, or panel assembly work
• Background in body shop, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries
• Experience working on structural builds or complex assemblies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality

Desirable:

• Experience with composite materials
• Previous contract experience in fast-paced production environments
