Job Description
On-site | Up to £65,000 per annum\n ️ Hard FM | TFM Environment | Leadership Role\n\nWe’re looking for a technically strong, people‑focused Contract Manager to lead our Hard FM delivery and wider site-based team on a high‑profile single‑customer contract in Oxford. You’ll ensure full compliance, exceptional service standards and a first‑class customer experience across a multi‑service TFM environment (including cleaning and security).\n\nActing as Deputy to the Contract Director, you’ll manage onsite engineers and subcontractors, drive operational excellence, and maintain a fully compliant, safe and operational estate.\n\n⭐ What You’ll Be Doing\n\nCustomer & Contract Management\n\n * Deliver Hard FM services across PPM, reactive, remedial and small works to SLA/KPI levels.\n\n * Build strong customer relationships through proactive communication and regular site walkarounds.\n\n * Support long‑ and short‑term service strategies and drive innovation.\n\nWorkplace & Technical Leadership\n\n * Provide strong technical guidance and engage specialist support when required.\n\n * Work with engineers to diagnose issues and implement action plans.\n\n * Lead improvements that enhance customer experience and operational quality.\n\nCustomer Experience\n\n * Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.\n\n * Gather and act on customer feedback to enhance service delivery.\n\n * Identify opportunities for contract development and growth.\n\nPeople Management\n\n * Lead, motivate and develop a multi‑discipline on‑site team.\n\n * Oversee recruitment, performance, competencies and training to support self‑delivery.\n\nResource & Operational Management\n\n * Maximise productivity and ensure compliance with SFG20 standards.\n\n * Drive value for money and support environmental improvements.\n\nH&S & Compliance\n\n * Embed Atlas Health & Safety policy into daily operations.\n\n * Maintain statutory compliance and accurate PPM documentation.\n\n * Escalate risks, investigate incidents and uphold governance standards.\n\nSupplier & Financial Management\n\n * Manage Hard FM supplier performance focusing on safety, quality and value.\n\n * Own the P&L, overseeing budgets, forecasting and financial risk.\n\n * Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for internal and customer stakeholders.\n\nBusiness Support\n\n * Support bids, site visits and collaboration with internal support functions.\n\n * Undertake additional reasonable duties aligned with the role.\n\n Qualifications, Certifications & Training\n\n * M&E trade qualifications and relevant technical background.\n\n * NEBOSH General, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S certification.\n\n Knowledge, Skills & Experience\n\n * 3+ years’ leadership in Hard FM/multi‑service environments.\n\n * Strong customer, operational and people management experience (teams 20+).\n\n * Proven financial management with full P&L responsibility.\n\n * Skilled in reporting, data interpretation and decision‑making.\n\n * Experience with CAFM systems (e.g., Planon).\n\n * Solid understanding of statutory regulations, PTW and SFG20.\n\n * Proficient in MS Office with strong presentation skills.\n\nAt Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
