Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract Manager, based in London. The Contract Manager will oversee and manage contracts related to painting and decorating projects, ensuring they are executed within budget and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, contractors, and team members, negotiating contracts, developing project schedules, and monitoring compliance with legal and safety regulations. Candidates will also be responsible for troubleshooting any project-related issues and ensuring strong client relationships.

Qualifications
  • Project management skills including contract negotiation, scheduling, and overseeing commercial projects
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and client relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and legal requirements in the construction and decorating industry
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience in construction, painting, decorating, or related fields preferred
  • Proficiency in relevant project management software is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, or a related field is desirable
