Job Title: Contract Manufacturing Operations Manager\n\nInterim Operations Manager\n\nImmediate start available\n\nCore hours - Monday – Thursday and 8-12:30 on a Friday.\n\nWe are looking for an interim Operations Manager with an electro-mechanical assembly manufacturing background to join a highly successful manufacturing operation on a contract / interim basis.\n\nAs Operations Manager, your remit will include:\n\nOverseeing the smooth running of manufacturing, supply chain and logistics operations in- house\nStrategically planning both from a resource and capacity planning perspective\nPlaying a key role in recruitment, training and development\nLiaison both externally with customers and internally to meet and exceed customer requirements in terms of Quality, Cost & Delivery.\nResponsibility for producing and successfully delivering manufacturing and inventory plans\nEnsuring that the quality of products meets and exceeds our strict quality standards & technical specifications To succeed in this role you will need to have:\n\n Proven production and operations management experience\n\nA background working on electro-mechanical assembled products.  \nThe ability to lead from the front and have a strong shop floor presence is essential, as is the ability to build, mentor and drive improvements across manufacturing operations.\nLow to medium volume background ideally\nGood understanding of ERP / MRP  \n\nDuration:  3 months rolling\n\nPlease contact Alison Kemp for further details or apply via the link\n\nLikely to suit individuals with a background as (but not limited to):  Operations Manager, Manufacturing Operations Manager, Production Operations Manager, Manager of Operations, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager or similar
