Contract Performance Marketing Manager\n\nDuration: 3 months (immediate start)\n\nIR35 Status: Outside IR35\n\nLocation: Fully Remote Working\n\nWe're supporting a rapidly scaling online marketplace in hiring a contract Performance Marketing Manager on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, specialist role focused on owning and optimising Google Shopping & PMax performance at scale across a large, complex product catalogue.\n\nThis is a high-impact, hands-on role for a true specialist in Google Shopping and PMax, operating at serious scale across millions of SKUs. This is not a strategy position, you'll be deep in the detail, owning performance end-to-end\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nOwn Shopping & PMax Architecture\n\nDesign and manage full campaign structures (tiers, priorities, listing groups)\nBuild scalable frameworks across large SKU catalogues (100K-1M+)\nControl PMax vs Standard Shopping interplay for optimal performance\nImplement advanced segmentation using feed-driven logic and custom labelsFeed, Merchant Centre & Data Integrity\n\nOwn Merchant Centre health: diagnostics, disapproval's, feed rules\nTranslate commercial inputs (margin, seller quality, pricing) into feed logic\nBuild robust labelling systems to drive performance segmentationPerformance Optimisation\n\nOptimise towards incremental revenue and contribution\nLeverage SKU-level economics, propensity modelling, and performance cohorts\nLead daily trading decisions - spotting issues and deploying fixes fastEfficiency & Scale\n\nReduce wastage across queries, budgets, and low-value SKUs\nMaintain campaign health across complex, high-volume structures\nImplement scalable automation and optimisation frameworksTechnical & Tracking Ownership\n\nOwn conversion tracking integrity (GTM, server-side, attribution)\nPartner with Data/BI teams on performance logic and automation\nEnsure all changes are measurable, testable, and repeatableEssential Skills\n\nDeep, hands-on expertise in Google Shopping & PMax\nStrong Merchant Centre and feed optimisation experience\nProven experience managing large-scale product catalogues (100K+ SKUs)\nTrack record in profit/contribution-based optimisation (not just ROAS)\nAdvanced understanding of:\nCampaign architecture & segmentation\nFeed tools (e.g.
