Contract QA Engineer – Dynamics 365 BC (Business Central)

UK (Remote)

Up to £375 per day | Outside IR35

6-month contract

We’re looking for an experienced Contract QA Engineer to take ownership of quality across a Microsoft Business Central upgrade and internal web applications whilst essentially being the glue between Development and Product teams. This is a stand alone role so having confidence to come in and hit the ground running is essential.

For the initial phase, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth, high-quality ERP upgrade. From there, you’ll help shape testing standards and raise quality maturity across the wider engineering team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning end-to-end testing for Business Central and internal web apps
• Acting as the quality gate for releases, balancing speed and risk
• Designing and executing manual and exploratory tests for business-critical flows
• Working closely with developers to build and maintain automated tests
• Improving regression strategies and embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines

What we’re looking for:

• Strong QA experience across complex systems (ERP experience a big plus)
• Hands-on manual testing with exposure to automation
• Confidence working closely with developers and influencing quality standards
• Comfortable in fast-moving, change-driven environments
