I'm currently working with an established main contractor looking to add a Highways Contractor Manager to their team to lead the delivery of a major highways and public realm upgrades in the Northwest. what they are looking for: Experienced and highly organised Contracts Manager - with a background in Civil engineering, specifically special projects or public realm works. Someone to take full ownership from pre-construction through to completion. Responsible for programming and planning works. Managing budgets and resources, leading site teams, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Liaising with clients, local authorities, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget, and to the highest of quality and safety. NVQ Level 7 in Civil Engineering. Strong technical expertise with construction background along with a commercial and contractual awareness. Be confident in leading, supporting and motivating site teams. Excellent people management and communication skills. The Role: Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.
