Continued investment in employee training and technology enables our teams to carry out a wide array of civil engineering tasks including earthworks, drainage, roadbuilding, fencing, landscaping and plant operation.More about the role:This is a full-time, on‑site role based in Lochgelly for a Contracts Manager.The role involves overseeing multiple construction projects from pre‑construction through to completionManage Site Managers, Engineers & operational teams to ensure successful project deliveryEnsure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budgetAct as Principal Contractor where required and ensure full compliance with CDM regulationsLiaise with Clients, Main Contractors, Consultants & key stakeholders to maintain strong working relationshipsReview and monitor project programmes, resources & performanceProvide leadership on health, safety, quality & environmental complianceAttend progress meetings and provide regular reporting to senior managementIdentify and manage project risks and opportunitiesOversee subcontractor performance and supply chain coordinationSupport the commercial team with valuations, variations, cost control & final accountsContribute to tender reviews, pre‑start planning & procurement strategiesThe successful candidate(s) will have a variety of the following skills/certificates/experience:5+ years’ experience in a Contracts Manager / Project Manager roleExperience working as a Main Contractor, Principal Contractor or Subcontractor.(projects predominantly involving civils packages preferred)Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencingSMSTSStrong leadership and communication skillsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organisational, commercial and problem‑solving abilityDriving licence is essentialEducated to minimum HNC/D level in Construction Management or similar (preferred)Salary/hourly rate – depending on skills & experience.Visit www.purvisgroup.co.uk/about/careers to download an application form or send a CV to recruitment@purvisgroup.co.ukWe’re recruiting for a number of positions including Groundworks/Civils operatives, Surfacing Operatives, Plant Operators, Surfacing/Civils Ganger/Working Foremen, QS, Setting Out Engineer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
