A construction background with a main contractor is essential. Candidates must have a stable career history and a genuine desire for a long-term, permanent role. At least five years experience in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or senior Site Manager position is required, along with experience delivering projects between £200,000 and £2 million. A strong understanding of JCT contracts is essential and knowledge of NEC is an advantage. You should be confident managing multiple projects, overseeing programmes, managing risk and ensuring compliance.
