Contracts ManagerWe are working on behalf of a well-established client located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, who is looking to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple regional projects. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong focus on health & safety, project delivery, and team coordination within groundworks and civils projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEnforce and monitor industry-standard health & safety procedures across all projectsManage works involving groundworks, roads, sewers, earthworks, and plotworksOversee civils projects, including bulk earthworks, remediation, drainage, hard landscaping, and surfacingPrepare, monitor, and maintain technical documentation, programmes, and reportsLead, motivate, and coordinate site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specificationBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teamsRepresent the organisation at senior-level meetings, presenting updates and reportsSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role, with experience in groundworksStrong knowledge of roads, sewers, civils, and earthworksWillingness to travel to other sites as and when requiredExcellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, and MS ProjectOutstanding communication, leadership, and relationship-building skillsExceptional attention to detail in documentation, planning, and reportingProfessional, personable approach to clients and stakeholdersBenefitsCompany pickup and fuel card (business use only)25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysMonday Friday, 08:00 17:00Long-term career opportunity with a supportive and professional environmentTo submit your CV, please press apply or contact Annabel Mills at our Northallerton office for further information.JBRP1_UKTJ
