Control Development Engineer

12-24 Month contract (outside IR35)

We are seeking a Control Development Engineer with strong experience in diesel / internal combustion engines to join the on-site engineering team in Peterborough (5 days per week) for our Automotive Client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and debug engine control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow
• Perform MIL / SIL / HIL validation and static code analysis
• Support auto code generation in line with embedded software development processes
• Work with AUTOSAR architecture, including software component configuration and related tools
• Interface with vehicle networks such as xbpsjku CAN and LIN

Requirements:

• Proven experience with diesel / ICE engine control systems
• Strong background in model-based control development
• Willingness to be fully site-based in Peterborough
