Control Development Engineer 12-24 Month contract (outside IR35) We are seeking a Control Development Engineer with strong experience in diesel / internal combustion engines to join the on-site engineering team in Peterborough (5 days per week) for our Automotive Client.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and debug engine control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow Perform MIL / SIL / HIL validation and static code analysis Support auto code generation in line with embedded software development processes Work with AUTOSAR architecture, including software component configuration and related tools Interface with vehicle networks such as CAN xbpsjku and LIN Requirements: Proven experience with diesel / ICE engine control systems Strong background in model-based control development Willingness to be fully site-based in Peterborough
