About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated and resilient Emergency Control Room Operator (CRO) to join Restrata’s growing global operations team.

Based in our state-of-the-art Global Operations Command Centre (GOCC), you’ll play a critical role in supporting international clients by monitoring operations, responding to incidents, and helping coordinate emergency response activities across the globe.

Operating 24/7/365, the GOCC supports major energy and industrial organisations during high-risk situations—making this a fast-paced, high-impact role where your decisions truly matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Monitor and test communications systems and IT infrastructure
  • Track personnel globally and maintain accurate logs
  • Monitor early warning systems and respond to alerts
  • Manage client documentation, site manifests, and reporting
  • Act as the first point of contact for helpdesk and platform queries
  • Log, track, and resolve technical issues with internal teams and vendors
  • Produce daily operational reports for clients
  • Collaborate with international teams to support ongoing operations

Emergency Response

  • Answer emergency calls and extract critical information quickly and accurately
  • Initiate and support emergency response procedures
  • Maintain detailed incident logs and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Coordinate with on-site teams and incident management leaders
  • Respond to SOS alerts from personnel in high-risk environments
  • Provide first-line support for Restrata products and services during incidents

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • Calm, resilient, and able to perform under pressure
  • A strong multitasker who can prioritise effectively in fast-moving situations
  • A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Technically capable with strong IT literacy (ECDL or equivalent desirable)
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn

Experience in emergency response or the energy sector is a plus—but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Career Development

This role offers more than just operations experience. You’ll also have opportunities to:

  • Support and contribute to training delivery
  • Work closely with multinational clients
  • Develop expertise in incident management and HSE environments

⏰ Working Pattern

  • 12-hour shifts (days & nights)
  • Rotation: 3 days on / 3 off / 3 nights / 6 off
  • Standby duties as required

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: £30,000 per annum
  • Generous annual leave + bank holidays
  • Pension & life assurance
  • Structured training and development opportunities
  • A collaborative, supportive team environment
  • Exposure to global, high-impact operations
