Due to an increase in business, our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their small, friendly team.

You will be working alongside a Conveyancer – and will be working closely with your clients on a wide range of conveyancing matters.

On a day-to-day basis you will :

* Assist with quotes and set up files for new conveyancing matters

* Issue clients with necessary forms and assist with their completion

* Apply for searches

* Deal with enquiries on sales and purchasing matters

* Diarise and chase matters as necessary

* Use the Land Registry portal to obtain Land Registry documents and Title Deeds as applicable

* Provide professional telephone support and email support to clients

* Work with third parties including solicitors, estate agents and lenders to progress matters

* Take/request payments from clients

* Prepare accounts for all receipts and payments

* Prepare files for exchange of contracts

* Prepare files for completion

* Deal with post completion matters

* Keep the case management system up to date

* Keep physical files up to date

We are looking for candidates who have been working in a conveyancing team for a minimum of one year.
